Symptoms can range from mild discomfort to debilitating pelvic pain that makes a normal life virtually impossible. The condition itself can often go undiagnosed.
Finding specialist help in the UK isn't always easy, which is why Consultant Gynaecologist, Sanjay Vyas, and his associates have established The Bristol Endometriosis Clinic.
